Greetings, hope all is well with you. Listen, I am emailing you today because Kaze and I had brunch at Sal and Mookies Sunday and although I am not surprised, I had to make you aware of how EXCELLENT your team is there.
I wrote an article last month about knowing our passions (http://www.jacksonfreepress.com/index.php/site/comments/queen_know_your_passion_090308/). I am a very critical patron and I take customer service very seriously. I work hard for my money and I want to feel good about spending it. Your team continues to demonstrate outstanding personable, friendly service. I have not yet had a server who made me feel like I was bothering them or that they had other things preoccupying their tasks and we're in your places all the time.
I explained to Kaze that the reason why your staff is so good is because you have that customer service bug. You are a people person so it's easy to identify that in others. You have mastered it. Tara Lynn is my favorite bartender/waitress in this town. But Adam, prooved to me Sunday that a little bit of attention and a lot of smiling goes a long way.
I just had to let you know that. I attached the column, "Know Your Passion", maybe you can let your staff read it and explain to them that they have done an excellent job at mastering good personal relations and customer service skills. When I do my next workshop on customer service and job placement, I will definitely mention you and your staff as an example of HOW TO DO IT. Maybe even invite you to come out!
