Ladies and/or Gentlemen,
I have only one word to say about your place....WONDERFUL!!
My daughter and I were on our last leg of our return trip from vacation in Texas. I had seen the advertisement for the art exhibit "Between Man and God" and had made it part of our planned adventures on the way home to Alabama. I happened to see your promotional flyer for the free ice cream for visitors to the museum. I inquired of where your place was located and in our traditional style of "lets find it" we set out!
It was our first time in Jackson, though we had passed through numerous times on trips. Beautiful city!!!! Loved it.
Anyway, we found the restaurant, perused the menu and was astounded at the choices and the great prices! Our waiter was great, the atmosphere was great, it was all such a wonderful change of pace. I have a rule when traveling, "no chains". We don't eat at chains unless it is absolutely necessary. I am sooo glad we found Sal and Mookies....We will definitely be return customers and will let all our friends know about it.
Another thing I would like to add, sorry this is so long, but I really, really think you guys should consider opening a Sal and Mookies in Birmingham. I guarantee you will make a killing here!!! Look to either the Trussville or Hoover areas. There are plenty of college students to man your ship and it would be a big hit. (My daughter and I could also frequent your establishment more!!! ,,,Hint!!)
Thank you for a great time, a great meal, oh and of course, the free ice cream. That blueberry cheesecake is out of this world!!
Sincerely,
Amber and Evelyn Charles
Birmingham, AL
